Week 35!

Well we have made it to week 35. Brian and I went to the Dr yesterday and I am 1 cm and 50% effaced and Blake is head down. So let's hope that things keep progressing.

We had another great Dr's visit yesterday. The Dr. has estimated that Blake is about 4 lbs right now. We start our weekly visits on March 4th.
We also had our first baby shower this weekend hosted by Brian's Family. We received a lot of great gifts and appreciate every one of them. We have another shower coming up this Saturday and the next. Things will be really busy in our household from now on.

We are great!

Things are great in the Wooley household. We went to the Dr. on Tuesday where I found out that I have only gained 1/2 a pound in the last 2 weeks. Which makes me excited!!!!
Blake is doing great. He is moving a lot and has had the hiccups a lot. Brian and I have started going to our prenatal classes. Our first one was a New Baby class which we took our nephew Alex to so he could learn about the new baby. Our second class which was Tuesday was a Breast is Best class. Lets just say we learned a lot of good info in this class. We have a few more lined up over the next two months. I have scheduled us for a birthing class crash course on March 22nd if Blake doesn't decide to make his entrance beforehand.

Blake's room

The room is coming right along. Mammaw Morris spent the weekend with us and made the crib skirt and valance. We also picked out the curtains.

Painting got kick started tonight with Courtney putting on the first coat. Megan will be putting her trimming skills to work this week as well. But so far it looks great and we are so excited.

I will keep posting pictures of the progress.

We have a name and another great Dr.'s visit

Brian and I went to the Dr. yesterday for our check-up and the glucose test. I am still awaiting results and will post them when I get them. We start going every other week now for a few weeks then it will be weekly check-ups.

Also Brian and I have decided on a name for our baby boy. Blake Morris Wooley. I am so excited that we finally have a name.

Courtney and Megan are going to start painting Blake's room this weekend. We are so excited that they have volunteered to do this for us. I will post pictures of the work in progress when they get started.

Another good Dr.'s visit

Brian and I went back to the Dr. today. The baby's heartbeat was at 138 and was very easy to find. He has become a very active baby. We are both growing on schedule.

Brian and I have also been trying to get the baby's room ready to go. We have bought the bedding and ceiling fan, plus a few other odd and end things. So hopefully after the Holidays we will get moving on everything and have the room complete before April.
